SHERI
(Wine)
Wine
. . . first mentioned in the Old Testament as a required sacrifice,
an element of worship. In the New Testament, at the Last Supper,
Jesus used wine to symbolize the blood He was about to shed for
the sins of the world. He instituted a practice that we call communion,
such that each time we drink wine and eat unleavened bread, we remember
what He accomplished for us on the cross. Wine also symbolizes the
work of the Holy Spirit. "New wine" is a reminder that
the Holy Spirit is alive and well, still working in our lives -
right now!

SHERI'S
SCRIPTURE
"He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and
wine . . ."
Luke 10:33-35

FROM
SHERI
"Good books,
world travel with my husband (Chuck), shopping, and antique jewelry
are just some of the things that I really enjoy in life. I am passionate
about my multi-cultural church, Victory World Church in Norcross,
GA, whose mission is for racial reconciliation here in the South.
But my great passion, my vision, is what God wants to do in the
hearts of women through the music and message of Oil & Wine.
Oil & Wine is His idea. My mission is to walk this thing out
with Him, day by day. Knowing that God is The Way for my life to
count, to touch others in a positive way, has changed how I live.
I structure my days to know Him better and to put Him first."
