GENERAL
GARMENTS
Oil
& Wine's garments have a multi-cultural look and appeal. They
symbolize Oil & Wine's calling to women of all cultures and
nationalities. They are timeless and resist fad or trend by design.
The garments have a reflective quality, symbolizing the Light of
the World shining through them. They incorporate many colors and
designs, symbolizing God's plan for women - intricate and varied,
yet flowing together perfectly. They are also designed to cover
the body, symbolizing a "priestly covering" every time
Oil & Wine dresses for ministry.

Tassels are sewn
onto the garment's cummerbund. The tassels are similar to the Old
Testament priestly garments, in that the number of knots in the
thread correspond to the Hebrew alphabet, spelling out the name
of God.

The closures on the garments fasten "every
other" way, such that each time we put on our garments, we
are reminded to not adhere to tradition, but to flow with what the
Holy Spirit wants to do.
NEW GARMENTS
New
garments are currently on the sewing table for Oil & Wine. These
"winter robes" are made of a crushed velvet that has the
look of Persian wool. They will maintain Oil & Wine's multi-cultural,
non-trendy look and feel. These garments are meant to vividly demonstrate
what the Bible calls "garments of praise". The lining
is red, but the outer garment is like pure white snow, demonstrating
that God sees us through the blood of His son, and we appear pure
before Him.
